I have only seen a couple 73 chargers at car shows in my area and I believe they had a 400 C.I engine.
The 440 was detuned to 280 hp in 72
280horsepower.
No actual production numbers, but rest assured that's one rare combo.
Off the line it was rated at 375
1,800 or 1,900 RPM.
It is a 1969 dodge charger r/t with a 440 magnum or a 426 hemi.
that all depends on the engine in it, the 440 magnum and the hemi were pretty fast in the day.

It's a 1973 Dodge Charger 440. http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_215510-Dodge-Charger-1973.html
It's a 1969 Dodge Charger r/t with a 440 magnum or a 426 hemi named "The General lee".
If it's the 440 magnum it had 375 horse and if it was a plain 440 and not the magnum it had 365 horse.
They are pretty rare but they made a lot of Chargers back in 1968, totaling 92,470 units. Of those Dodge made 2,743 Charger R/T's with a 440 and a 4-speed. The total quantities of Charger R/T's made in 1968 were 17,584, including 211 examples with a 426 Hemi and a 4-speed.
