The average IQ is 95 to 105 - that's what makes it average. All IQ scores are based on this average.

IQ scores have a standard deviation of 15 points - every 15 points up or down is one SD 100 points is the middle of the Bell curve of I.Q. and most common I.Q.. That doesn't mean a great deal, but it gives you a sort of scale. If your IQ is between 100-115, you are average, on the bright side. 116-130, on the smart side. 131-145 is in the very smart area . Above 145 is a very rare score.

On the minus side, 85-100 is again average, but on the less bright side. Below 85 is getting dysfunctional. 60 and below is retardation.

age dose not affect I.Q. much so it does not matter if you are 14 or not. I.Q. may go up or down a few points in as you grow but it will stay relatively the same. when i was is when 8 i took the test and i was above 3 SD's. I'm 15 now. its most likely the same now.
