RBC's are made up almost entirely of Hemoglobin, a substance that binds with oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. The chemical reactions within the cell are carried out naturally and regularly, and consequently, do not need to be monitored or regulated by a nucleus, and as long as there is oxygen for the hemoglobin to bind to, carry, and distribute, the RBC will live about four months.

They don't necessarily need to do anything special because they move by the flow of the blood stream, similar to a virus. As it travels, it cannot change course on it's own and only aims to pick up carbon dioxide and deliver oxygen.

Basically all the cells, except the red blood cells have a nucleus. They don't have one, because without it, they could carry much more minerals, etc. Red cells DO NOT reproduce. They live about 3-4 months. When they reach that age, they are automatically send in the liver, where they die, and the released waste is used to form new ones.

on their reserves.

the nucleus is needed to reproduce (red cells don't) and the production of protein. When the proteins in a red cell are used up, it dies (in about 90 days).

i just know, red blood cell have nucleus but when red blood cell become mature,

the nucleus is replaced haemoglobin. It help to carry more oxygen.

Do you think a cell would function without a nucleus?

A cell wouldn't survive without a nucleus because that is where the DNA is. If a cell doesn't have genetic material it cannot reproduce properly.

What is one of the structures of the cell that uses to live and reproduce?

The nucleus contains all the genetic material (DNA) to reproduce. It can, however, not live and reproduce without interaction with and presence of other components of a cell.

What would happen to cell reproduction if thr nucleus of a cell were not present?

The cell would not reproduce if the nucleus is not present

its the nucleus

Are very small simple cells without a nucleus?

Every cell has a nucleus. Without a nucleus there is no DNA in the cell and if you didn't know the nucleus is the brain of the cell.

Why does the nucleus have DNA?

The nucleus of a cell has DNA so it can attach to their cells, and it gives it the capability to reproduce.

It is an Eukaryotic cell. A cell without a nucleus is a Prokaryotic.

Can a cell survive without the nucleus for a short time?

no, a cell can't survive without its nucleus as nucleus is the main brain of the cell. *****A red blood cell is without a nucleus and can survive for 120 days. This cell is very unique to the body because of this.

Which cell type lacks a nucleus what functions would this cell be unable to carry out?

The mature red blood cell lacks a nucleus, and so is unable to reproduce.
