if it has a "smart key" you will have to take it to a locksmith who will program a new key and cut it. It was 100 dollars for me because I had only 1 key. If you have 2 keys, it will be about 30 dollars. THIS IS NOT Ford DEALER PRICES!!!

I don't believe that there is such a thing master key for ford escorts. My suggestion is to call a locksmith and replace the lock that you have lost that key for.

A Ford dealership can replace the key using the VIN located on the dashboard, if keys are available. At present, they are for post year 2000 trucks. ( 15 Apr '10). Mine is '96!
