Quite Safe, unless of course you decided to climb the wind turbine tower and jump from it then its probably quite dangerous, Ha, Ha, Ha onto a serious note, i would imagine its safe, environmentally friendly (as long as you do not mind seeing loads of wind turbines in the countryside), but an argument could be made for the possiblilty of it affecting the weather in another part of the world, i.e. the butterfly effect (a butterfly flaps its wings in surrey and a hurricance happens in Japan --- Also, wind generators can turn at quite a clip and are known to be dangerous to birds flying through their path. When a wind farm intercepts the flight path of a migration, that migration can easily be destroyed. The effects of major changes on the ecology have a way of manifesting themselves in surprising and not always pleasant ways. As to affecting weather in another part of the world, that other part of the world is the countryside downwind of the wind farm, where a reduction in wind velocity can have all manner of effects on evaporation, fertilization, temperature, and other critical weather and agrarian features in the immediate vicinity.
As far as I know, there are only two safety factors: the first is the support and rigging system. In adverse weather, if the rigging is not sufficient or proper, the entire unit could fall over. The second is not really aimed toward people, but most people care about it. Birds tend not to notice some turbine designs, resulting in injury or death of birds. The only other hazard (electric shock) is present in every method of energy generation.
Wind energy helps in the creation of millions of jobs, generates electricity, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Until recently there are some concerns regarding the protection of birds, there are however measures that can be taken to reduce their fatality. P
solar energy is energy from the sun and wind energy is energy from the wind
Wind energy is recovered by changing wind energy to electricity
Wind energy can provide all the energy that we need
None of the above ... Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy.
The atmosphere gets its energy from the Sun. The Sun heats different air masses differently and these mix in a complex manner to produce the winds that blow in the atmosphere.
unlimited energy, safe, no effort.
Solar and wind energy is the most safe. Of the renewable energies, nuclear can produce nuclear waste and go critical, while hydroelectric power can displace many acres of land. Wind and solar energy produce no waste, do not pollutes, and do not displace.
wind. solar. hydro.
wind energy is energy that is caused by the wind a example of this is wind turbines
Wind energy is not called solar energy. Solar energy is the energy from the sun, while wind energy is just wind energy.
Radiant energy is the safest energy for people and the environment.
Wind energy is just called wind energy.
Wind turbines (in a wind farm) convert kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy. Not to be confused with wind mills - that turn the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy.
solar energy is energy from the sun and wind energy is energy from the wind
Wind energy is renewable energy.
Wind energy is derived from wind mills. These wind mills are powered by the wind and capture it's energy when it blows.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Wind turbines do not create energy. They take energy from the wind and convert it into electrical energy.
