To perceive and understand science other than as an evidence-based explanation of the natural world would be intellectual dishonesty. Since dishonesty is against the teachings of Christianity, the answer seems clear. This is not to say that Christians should regard scientists as in some way infallible, but it does mean that when a scientific observation is recognised by the scientific community, it ought to be considered as sound science.
Christians believe that God created the Earth therefore science should be understanded as to research and investigate God's creation and respecting it
From a Christian perspective, the Bible tells WHAT God is and WHAT he does. Science describes HOW God does things.
It is hard for Christians to perceive and understand science because the Bible has very little science in it and religion of any kind is so dogmatic that anything that does not coincide with the Bible's teachings is dismissed as blasphemy, and any person who advances scientific theories is dismissed as a tool of the devil trying to lead good little Christians astray. For what purpose I am not sure. If you can accept that not everyone who has a scientific theory is an agent of the devil, then you might find that there are things that are even more wondrous in science than in God. You have to remember that when it suits them, Christian teachers will either dismiss something they cannot explain as "the work of the Devil, or, when faced with a scientifically accepted fact like the age of the universe, those teachers will blithely say "Oh, yes, well god did create all existence in 7 days...but for him, a day is like a billion years." Come on.

All of them. Anything that you can perceive with any of your senses involve science.
most Christians don't believe in science because science explains that people evolve from animals whereas Christians believe that people came from god

For most Christians, involving themselves in scientific research or applied science is not an issue of faith, because they see no conflict between religious belief and scientific theory. However, for some Christians there is a problem, because their views on religion are contradicted by the scientific evidence. Involving themselves in understanding science can help them to understand that science need not prevent them from being Christians. After all, if a religion is based on truth, it must be capable of adapting as we find out more about the natural world. For many Christians, science can be a rewarding and satisfying career. There is no reason to attempt to discredit science simply to maintain a narrow view of what religion means. And an education that includes a sound knowledge of modern scientific theories can open the mind and broaden our perspectives. Science allows us all to contribute to the betterment of mankind.
The most common pitfall that Christians of today come across is technology. The world and science has answered so many questions that were once believed to only be known to God that many Christian's faith has become shaken.
