How should I forgive my husband for never telling me he had a bachelor party before our wedding and how can I get over the fact that there were strippers and things went too far?

* It is not uncommon for men to have a bachelor party (the bride to be and her friends can also have a bachelorette party if they wish ... sometime male strippers are involved) but, it's up to the taste of the bride on this one. The Best Man is the one that plans The Bachelor Party and it is up to the Best Man to look after the Groom. Sometimes the groom is over-whelmed and a little nervous at what his male friends may do to him. If you are suggesting your husband had sex with one of the strippers I doubt it if it was in a strip club as the bouncers there are to guard the strippers and it's a 'look don't touch policy.' If this was a private party and your husband had sex with the stripper then you are going to have communicate your feelings to your fiance. Alcohol is no excuse by any means, but, as I said further up in the post sometimes the Groom is nervous and drinks too much as his male friends will be trying to get him drunk. Love is what really is on trial here, so you either love him and if he's never cheated on you before and made a mistake at his Bachelor Party then you should forgive him and move on. Why this subject came up is a puzzle, but at least he was honest about it. You are obviously hurt and felt you were the only woman in his life, but, things happen and it's not uncommon for this to happen at a Bachelor Party (although it shouldn't happen.) If your marriage has been fairly good up to now then be mature about it and move on as it happened in the past.
