There is a white box underneath the passenger side glove box/dashboard, Some one kicked the crap out of that box in my car and then some metal fell on the circuit board and shorted that box out, I replaced it and my CC works flawlessly now.
There should be a fuse box under the steering column with a diagram printed on the cover.
It is not recommended to add a cruise control system to a Chevrolet Cobalt as it may require significant modifications to the vehicle's electrical system and components. It is best to consult with a professional mechanic or auto shop before attempting to install cruise control in a Cobalt.
The Chrysler Sebring cruise control switch is located beneath the dashboard, on the drivers side. The cruise control switch should be labeled as such.
To use the cruise control on the PT Cruiser, turn the cruise control on in the steering wheel. Accelerate to the desired speed and push in the end of the left turn signal knob. The cruise control should then control the speed. To take the car out of cruise control, a person can tap the brake.
No, cruise control is not advised nor recommended on slippery roads. You need to maintain control at all times in conditions like these.
My best guess is that the fuses are not the problem. I think it is a problem with the ground in the steering column. i FOUND THE RELAY FOR THE HORN/CRUISE IN THE FUSE BOX IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. IT SHOULD BE THE SQUARE RELAY CLOSEST TO THE FIREWALL, CLOSEST TO THE DRIVER'S FENDER.
In the 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue, the cruise control system may deactivate when the blinker light is turned on as a safety feature. This design ensures that drivers remain in full control of the vehicle when signaling a lane change or turn, allowing them to adjust their speed as needed. Additionally, it may be related to the vehicle's electrical system, where the activation of the blinker interrupts the cruise control function. If this behavior seems abnormal, it could indicate a malfunction that should be checked by a mechanic.
I have a Ford Taurus 92, and my cruise control is right on the steering wheel. There is an "on and off" switch on the wheel, and you click the on, and a cruise control button should be under those. (be sure to click "on" before you click the c.c.)
The fuse for the cruise control on a 2002 Honda CR-V is located in the under-hood fuse box. This fuse box is typically found near the battery. You should look for a fuse labeled "Cruise" or "Cruise Control" in the fuse diagram provided on the cover of the fuse box. If the fuse is blown, replacing it may restore cruise control functionality.
Read the manual, but I believe it says when the cruise light blinks there is an error with the cruise control and should be checked. I have had mine blink before and then the next time I used it, it was fine.
Just about any aftermarket cruise control package will work on a 2000 Echo. It should be professionally installed to make sure there are no safety concerns.
No , absolutely not ( if you hit a puddle , which will slow the car down , the cruise control willtry to accelerate the car to maintain the set speed )It's not recommended to use the cruise control in the rain. Normally, you use the cruise control on the highways. When it's raining you need complete control on the car and be fully alert.( NO ) if you hit a puddle that slows the car down then the cruise control will accelerate the carbetter not it could cause the car to accelerate at the wrong time and cause loss of control
