Well never let it follow you too much. Brush it daily take it a walk every day every two days at the most the have lots of energy to burn so they need to get out alot. It is a big responseablity to take on a German shepherd and if you don't take care of it proparly it my show signs of tilting its head down and it's tail going in and making movement lower to the ground to show it's much smaller than you and lower in the pack, it will also start wining when it aproches you because it posibly is scared of you! Feed it one big meal a day after your walk hydrate it alot! When your dog gets hyper pay no attenshion it could get dangerous
You should call animal control in your town and file a complaint. I would then sue the owner of the German Shepherd IF your dog was on a leash, the German Shepherd was NOT on a leash and IF your dog was not on the German Shepherd's property.I'm sorry for your loss, that is terrible :(

First of all its GERMAN SHEPHERD, not "Shepard". Second of all, if your dog is not current on his/her rabies (which, why in the world would he/she not be) then you should get this dog to the veterinary IMMEDIATELY to be checked out.
You take care of it like any other dog breeds.
