I was on the concrete canoe team in engineering school. we used chicken wire for reinforcing. we stapled the wire to an old wooden canoe. (may have used more than one layer.. dont remember for sure... it was a long time ago) we tried to keep the wire away from the wood so when we put the concrete into the wire it would be totally engulfed in the concrete. we applied the concrete with our protected hands. watch out as the concrete will cause serious damage to your skin. and the wire will cut you. the concrete is about 1" thick and has vermiculite for aggregate. this makes it light weight. we probably put release agent on the wood canoe. removing the wood was a big headache. also, any staples sticking into the wood are tiny daggars., so we lined the concrete canoe with styrofoam.
our canoe weighed about 90 to 100 pounds and was about 14' long as i remember.
the engineering colleges - civil department (in the midwest) have a yearly contest with the intent to race these canoes. sometimes it gets really funny.
might look up ASCE student chapters to find more info. the concrete canoe is pretty cheap, looks pretty cheap, too.
One of the greatest developments in building that Rome used was concrete. The use of concrete in various weights enabled them to construct the dome. One of the greatest developments in building that Rome used was concrete. floods less land, uses less materials (concrete, steel...) to construct dam
Our patio needs replacing. How difficult is it to construct a patio ourselves with concrete pavers?
There should only be 2 paddles per canoe.

due to earth pressure
The block isn't aerodynamic, so it sinks. The boat, no matter what it's constructed with, will be able to float if it's in a shape that will be aerodynamic in water.
Steel, borated concrete, lead, etc.
Concrete and the invention by Rome of the arch.
Construct and angle and bisect it, that should do it.
a spirit canoe is an invisible canoe. neigther the canoe of a spirit or the spirit of a canoe.
Concrete is the material of choice.
