Don't apologize for doing well! You tell her that you didn't make the decision and that if she is so selfish that she is mad at you for succeeding instead of being happy for you, that she's obviously not a very good friend. Then ask if the situation was reversed, wouldn't she want you to be happy for her. If she's still mad at you, she's obviously not a very good friend and your relationship with her should be purely work-related.
