We are all supposed to be following the example of Jesus and following the Christ helps us to imitate our heavenly Father. This is because Jesus reflected God's thinking, feelings, and personality better and explained him more fully than anyone else could. When on earth, Jesus did not simply make Jehovah's name known. Rather, he revealed the Person that name represents. (Read Matthew 11:27.) Jesus did this by his words and deeds, his teachings and example.

So if the churches are telling you something different than what Jesus is teaching us, then there is a big problem on the churches side!

Since God is the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit do I have to pray to God or can I just pray to Jesus since Jesus is God?

Jesus taught us to pray...our Father who art in heaven... If Jesus prayed to the Father then it should be ok for you too.

Should you pray to Jesus?

No, you should pray to the Almighty God, Jehovah, doing so Jesus’ name since he is the intercessor between God and mankind. Jesus was his son and he taught that people should pray to his Father, Jehovah. This is who Jesus prayed to when he was on earth.

When Christ return will he rule on Earth with Jehovah's witnesses?

First of all, Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe that Jesus will rule ON EARTH. Jesus will rule OVER the earth, from the invisible heavenly realm.Secondly, since Jesus is also a Witness of Jehovah God; he certainly wouldn't rule with a non-Witness of Jehovah God. People or angels, are either 'Witnesses of Jehovah', or they are 'Witnesses of Jehovah's adversary, Satan'. Christ would never use a non-Witness to rule with him. Jehovah has chosen 144,000 from among mankind to rule with him. They will rule from Heaven. They will serve as 1) Kings, 2) Priests, and 3) Judges towards 'the meek' who will 'inherit the earth'. It will be a 'great crowd' that will receive this wonderful earthly inheritance.Only Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in this inheritance. Everyone else in mainstream religions have rejected this inheritance; and opted to inherit the heavens.Non-Witness counter:However, this is not what is taught in scripture. When Jesus returns there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth; the two will become one (Revelation 21:1-2).

Where is Jehovah located?

The Bible simply states that He is located in the Heavens. (Isaiah 66:1) Since Jehovah, Jesus, and all the angels are spirit persons, they would reside in the spirit realms, out of reach of physical beings. Therefore, we cannot see Jehovah, or the place where He is located.

Are jehovas witnesses christian?

Jehovah's Witnesses indeed claim that they are Christians. Jehovah's Witnesses are "followers of Christ", implying that even if they don't claim to be Christians (which they/we do), they would be anyway. Jehovah's Witnesses indeed claim to be Christian. They accept Jesus as the son of God, being of divine nature. They believe he had a prehuman existence and came to earth to die for mankind's sins. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that there can be no salvation without accepting Jesus sacrifice and honour Jesus as their King and Leader. Since to be a 'christian' means to follow Jesus' example and obey him, they preach the bible in imitation of their leader Jesus, and try to be like him in word and deed. So, yes, Jehovah's Witnesses feel they have the right to be called Christian. Any 'confusion' that has arisen in this regard may be from the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses believe Jesus to be God's Son and not Almighty God himself. They reject the teaching of the trinity as unscriptural. == ==

Why did jesus tell parbles?

His parables are stories that are easy to remember that contain some truth he wanted to teach. Since he taught by speaking, not writing, this was an excellent way to enable his hearers to recall what he taught.
