Its not just to fit in a dress! The guy that dresses you prefer skinny models because they have more clothes for thyou have to be skem and more things for them to use! I dont think you have to be skinny to enter pageants! Or to be a model
Clothes look better on someone who is skinny. So when Calvin Klein wants to sell a shirt he needs someone he knows it will look good on. People think this is a good shirt and buy it themselves. Therefore having skinny models is just another way to advertise.

∙ 13y agoAlmost all stylists prefer thin models because that way clothing maintains its original shape, so that buyers can see it before buying it. If a model filled the clothing and changed its shape, the customer would have a distorted view of it and would later be disappointed if it fits them differently.
"Skinny is Pretty" is not the reason. Not the main one, at least.
