Snow is formed when water freezes
not an exact answer. the correct theory behind snow formation is given below. assume that at some instant supercooled liquid droplets present in the cloud. when some impurities ,called nucleus, contacts with this supercooled liquid droplet it suddenly FREEZES forming ice particle. after that the water vapor present in the cloud DESUBLIMES over this ice particle thereby incresing its size called SNOW. several snow particles can combine together to form SNOW FLAKES.
it is made when you combine rain and cold weather it freezes it slightly and falls as snow
It's formed when the tempeture is too low and snow starts falling out of the sky
Rocks and snow
A glacier is an ice mass formed from years of accumulated snow that may be moving slowly.
yes. clouds are formed by water. what makes snow? FROZEN WATER!!! so yes you need clouds to have snow
Nunatak's aren't really formed, they are just there because of the amount of snow and ice compacted together!
Glaciers are fallen snow :thats how it's formed
We live in the troposphere....snow would be formed.
rocks and snow
Well, ice is lumpy and harder than snow. Snow is softer and easier to pick up.
Rocks and snow
It becomes snow.
That all depends on the amount of acid or other material in the air when the snow is formed.
Meltwater
A glacier is an ice mass formed from years of accumulated snow that may be moving slowly.

It was formed 100 000 years ago by snow falling and building up. Then rocks started to form and enclosed the snow which formed Mont Blanc.
Icicles are formed when water freezes in cold weather and when drips of ice and melting snow refreeze.
Nunatak's aren't really formed, they are just there because of the amount of snow and ice compacted together!
