A guinea pig sow will normally start showing around 3 weeks after mating, but just barely. Her sides will start to bulge out, and it will look like she has two bumps on her sides. A guinea pig will give birth around 59-79 days after mating, so mark your calendars and keep an eye out!

I am not completely sure what you are asking. I will try to answer your question as I am reading it. After a female Micro pot belly pig gives birth, she will go in 'heat' or become 'fertile' about one month after she stops 'nursing' her young. She is in heat for two to three full days. She will go into heat every 28-30 days there after.

.... A Sow will come on "heat" usually 4 weeks after weaning. Housing the Sow close by - but not with - a Boar of breeding age will help this process.

Signs that the sow is willing to "stand" include;

  • tacky mucus inside lips of vagina
  • Increased temperature
  • amorous behaviour
  • she allows you to sit astride her
  • honking calls and willingness to leave pen any chance she gets.
