Depends how many times a cat is allowed to breed. A Queen comes into heat every two or three weeks, and once mated the heat cycle often starts again as soon as the kittens are weaned, so as many as 4-6 litters a year.

However, this is far from recommended as letting a cat become pregnant constantly without "resting" her takes a huge toll on her health and overall quality of life, which then in turn puts any offspring at risk. Unless you are an experienced breeder then the best option is to not even consider having any litters, and get the cat neutered instead.

Additionally, there are so many cats and kittens who need homes, it's not a good idea to bring even more into the world who will need homes.

About 57-70 days. About 2 days before birth, the cat looses her appetite and her temperature drops. She also starts looking for a dark place to nest her babies such as closets, doors, boxes, etc. so keep all the doors and closet doors closed and give her a box with a blanket for her. She won't like to be disturbed by anyone while nursing so give her her space.

Normally, a Queen comes into heat every two or three weeks, and once she has been mated and had kittens, the heat cycle often starts again as soon as the kittens are weaned. Sometimes, a female cat can become fertile again as soon as the kittens are born.

However, this is far from recommended as letting a cat become pregnant constantly without "resting" her. Letting a cat become pregnant again so soon takes a huge toll on her health and overall quality of life, which then in turn puts any offspring at risk. Unless you are an experienced breeder then the best option is to not even consider having any litters, and get the cat neutered instead.

Additionally, there are so many cats and kittens who need homes, it's not a good idea to bring even more into the world, where finding new homes for the kittens is not guaranteed.

Almost IMMEDIATELY. This is why it's important to get your cat spayed as soon as possible after having kittens, because she can't be spayed while pregnant.

Usually Queens will start to call again when the kittens are weaned, although it is not unheard of for some cats to come into season soon after the kittens have been born.

A female cat can get pregnant at about one year old. A male cat can impregnate a female at about eight months old. It varies a bit, of course, from one cat to another.

How old does a cat have to be to get pregnant safely?

Female cats can get pregnant by three months old, however it would be a good idea to let your cat develop fully as being pregnant will upset the cat's hormones. I would recommend waiting until your cat is nine months to a year old.

Then you will have to bottle feed the kittens or get another cat with kittens to do it. You can ask a vet if you need kitten formula. A pregnant cat will usually not show milk until soon before she gives birth.
