Boca Pharma released a generic formulation of Alprazolam 2mg, white, circular tablets that are scored in quarters on the back, and embossed with the hallmark: bp 633 on what is presumably the front. Upon reading many different sites regarding the quality and effectiveness of such a generic, I personally find these generic tablets to work just as well as all of the others that I have been prescribed for social and generalized anxiety disorder. I do not take these pills to get high, rather I take them to mitigate the crippling anxiety I have been suffering with my entire life. Now, it is true that different manufacturers use different inert ingredients to press their pills, and these variants of of ingredients could greatly effect the efficacy of the drug prescribed. If you have problems achieving the same amount of anxiety relief that one was expecting from another Brand Name Generic, I suggest you speak to your doctor about switching to a brand that provides better, more long lasting relief. I have no problems with these pills and will continue to take them. I hope this helps some of you out there who are having problems with these pills. remember, it is not the active ingredient, but the pill fillers that may be interrupting maximum absorption for your particular body chemistry.
