It was the Women's Anti-War Movement in Australia that was both anti Vietnam War but also anti conscription.
For North Vietnam it was.
No it most certanly was not succesfull.
the Save Our Sons (SOS) campaign was formed by mothers during the Vietnam war to fight against conscription in Australia and fought against children going to war. basically the SOS campaign succeeded as it gained more members as the Vietnam war continued. this was because people could see the evil of war on television as it was only invented just before the war.
If you were a Vietnamese nationalist, it would be regarded as a success. If you were pro-South Vietnam, it would be regarded as a failure.
It failed; the communists won the war.
No, it wasn't successful. The government never did declare it a war and didn't put in all that it could have to win.
1. Couldn't invade NORTH Vietnam 2. Couldn't use nukes 3. Couldn't stop flow of men/material in South Vietnam
If by the North Vietnamese you mean during the Vietnam war their goal was to unite all of Vietnam under a communist regime. Which was successful.
1. Could not invade North Vietnam 2. Could not use atomic weapons 3. Could not stop flow of men/material into South Vietnam
It did for over 20 years.
Alex, what is GI Joe?
