Depends on the variety and the conditions in which they are grown. Dwarf bush tomatoes will only grow 60 cm (2ft) and do not require staking, while some greenhouse varieties can grow up to 4-5 meters (13-16 ft). Most grown in the home garden will top out 2-3 meters (6-10 ft).
no, tomatoes grow on plants about 5foot tall which have small yellow flowers that die off to grow a tomato.
with seeds and dirt
tomato
The same as you do in soil
yes i tryed it trust me
whydidnt the rice plants grow tall
I have given a healthy dose of the regular Miracle Grow to my new tomato plants and the leaves and stalks are strong, thick and green, but I have no buds. I have a feeling that all of the nutrients are going to the leaves, but not to the buds/tomatoes.
Nitrogen is the main ingrediant of all crap that makes things grow but to much fertilizer will make them grow fast and big but the harvest will not be very much. This happened to my tomato plants they grew 6 feet tall but i only got 1 tomato of of it
Every bloom on a tomato plant CAN in fact produce a tomato. I polinate my plants by going from bloom to bloom and "tickling" them. My wife laughs at me for "fondling" my plants, but it works!
too much watering in the beginning.
To make the plant grow faster?
They can grow either way: in small clusters or singly. It also depends on the type of tomato. Cherry tomatoes grow in small clusters.
