40 inches, and for safety reasons they do take that seriously... if your child is even SLIGHTLY under they WILL NOT be allowed on the ride. If they aren't obviously over 40 inches they will probably be measured two or even three times (once at the entrance, once at the bottom of the first ramp, and possibly again at the actual loading area).
48 in.
Splash Mountain of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of the most famous ones are Pirates of the Caribbean, It's A Small World, the Star Wars ride named "Star Tours," the Indiana Jones ride, The Haunted Mansion, the Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is one of the few Disney theme park rides not based on a film. In the early days of Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom, designers created a number of concepts with no film basis. Most notably, these included the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean (though many have had film adaptations after the fact). Imagineer Marc Davis designed a pavilion called Western River Expedition, containing a boat ride and mine train coaster, which was to appear instead of Pirates of the Caribbean at the Magic Kingdom. However, the ride's projected expense and guest requests for a Pirates ride stalled building of Western River Expedition. In the mid-1970s, Imagineer Tony Baxter suggested a design which contained only the roller coaster. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad opened at Disneyland in 1979, with the larger version opening in Walt Disney World in 1980. The boat ride portion of Western River Expedition eventually became Splash Mountain (opening in Disneyland in 1989 and Magic Kingdom in 1992).
the highest drop on big thunder mountain railroad was about 104 feet.
Disneyland is very fun and great for kids and even adults. Disneyland has characters walking around the theme park, signing autographs and taking pictures with people. The rides are fantastic and have height limits. Its A Small World doesnt have a height limit and neither does the Monorail and the Disneyland Train [not the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Ride, that is a different train ride!!!]. It is a very kid-friendly place and its super fun! It is big and you walk alot if your there long, so I would wear sneakers if I were you.
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Yes, Splash Mountain is located in the Critter Country area of Disneyland. There are also Splash Mountains at the Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland.
In Disneyland, California, my opinion is that Space Mountain is the best. But, everyone has a different opinion.
The ride in Disneyland Paris is actually named Space Mountain: Mission 2.
This ride gets up to speeds as fast as 35 miles per hour.
Contrary to popular opinion, it is neither 'Splash Mountain', nor 'It's A Small World'. It's actually 'Ellen's Energy Adventure' in Epcot, lasting approximately 45 minutes.
