Refrigerant enters the compressor inlet as a low pressure vapor. The compressor increases the pressure, and discharges it as a high pressure vapor.
working principle of a compressor
There is no Air compressor on you Mustang. If you mean the Air Conditioner compressor, the answer is yes. There is s fuse for the A/C compressor.
Yes
it blows air
when unplug ed and plug ed the power switch relay will make click if supply is in working condition to circuit. so compressor if not working the means no sound then definately it is in problem.
Check for a blown fuse. Also check the wiring connections at the compressor.
Step 1: you call someone to do it for you
your condensor is clogged up, or your condensor fanmotor is not working, or your compressor struckup due mechanical problem inside of your compressor.
it is the compressor because it is a working machine ............... :P
Blown fuse, low of refrigrant, defective compressor, or compressor clutch.
fuse,compressor clutch relay,wiring,system needs recharging,bad compressor
The compressor is located under, to the left of the engine. You will see that it is attached to the belt (its an a/c compressor!) and it is right in front of the radiator fans. The compressor will have some silver houses running to it, and a socket wire harness conected to it. Hope this helps heh
