I would say crappy in the 1800's, because they were being moved from their lands, at war with US Soldiers, and deceases. I would the 1900's were better than the 1800's, but still treated bad (Lower class).

Their life sucked as hell! Dont even image how bad their lives were! They were exhausted from Americans that were forcing them to leave their place and moved to some crappy places!!
