Native American treated Christopher Columbus with more than enough respect. They gave him and his crew all their tools. But then Christopher Columbus made them slaves so they started to dislike him.

The native people treated Columbus very well , giving him food and shelter they thought of the Europeans as their white brothers. But Columbus did not treat them well, killing a lot then making the rest slaves.

How did Columbus voyages changed the world?

He was the first documented person to visit the New World: North and South America. And he told people about it, unlike the Vikings who were the first Europeans to visit the New World. Christopher Columbus, in exploring the Americas, was also responsible for the spread of communicable diseases such as smallpox, which the Native Americans did not know how to treat. Columbus and his men inadvertently caused epidemics that wiped out entire tribes. Furthermore, Columbus expanded on trade with the Native Americans. When he found the New World, he also found things he had never seen before: various beads, spices, animals, birds, and of course customs. His crews might have traded spyglasses or knowledge for various objects. The Natives taught Columbus many things about agriculture, etc. When the crews could not gain what they wanted by bartering, they often stole it by physical force, or threatened it out of the Natives.

What was the conflict of diary of a wimpy kid dog days?

In conclusion, the Spanish did not treat the Native Americans properly. They killed the Native Americans, sold them as slaves, and so on. That is not the right thing to do. They should have treated them differently, with respect. What if that was them? How would they feel? They didn't deserve any of the things they been through. They were innocent people who just crumbled in a cruel man's hands. That man was Christopher Columbus. In my opinion, Christopher Columbus is a murderer and did all the wrong things. I am not and will never be, on his side. GO NATIVE AMERICANS!

Were the Indians friendly when Columbus arrived in western hemisphere?

Of course! The Native Americans were friendly when they met Columbus and the Spanish explorers because they thought Columbus and his explorers to be honorable people. Columbus portrayed himself in this way. He was very kind and polite to the Native Americans and made sure to treat them with respect. The Native Americans, after all, had never seen Europeans before, and although they were a bit taken aback, they admired them (of course, until they realized the Europeans only wanted their land and were only seeking to exploit them).
