I think this is a valid question, but you have asked it in the wrong way. You could have your question like, "How will the roll of a teacher change from an industrial/ technological driven education system to that of a multimedia/ societal driven education? How would this change affect future education systems?" Unfortunately I am way too tired to answer this question in its entirety, but I believe that the younger teachers are able to adapt new multimedia and methods into their teaching methods than elder well established teacher. However there is a lot of value in the experience of elder teachers in terms of classroom and subject matter management. Therefore one could hypothesis that young teachers need an older teacher with working knowledge of children and subject manipulation, and older teachers need young teachers to help them integrate them integrate with new technology and the teaching methods the new technology brings.
