3 different ways of doing the same thing when you replace the battery To reset the windows, you need to open them fully then as quick as you can, press the close until it's fully closed again. Keep hold of the close button until you hear a beep and get a Window Set message. You might need to try it a couple of times before you get it right. When you have changed your battery you are likely to get a sunroof not set message too
To set the roof open fully, close fully, tilt up, tilt down, open fully close fully - all in a smooth seamless operation - if you have done it correctly message centre will beep and show sunroof set on the last closing stage
As with the windows you may have to do it several times to get it right - I find the easiest way with the windows is just to open/close fully twice as one smooth operation and on the second up you will get a beep and window set message showing The window autodown or up feature will no longer work. also when you go to move the windows up, the message center will beep and say which window you are raising and say WINDOW NOT SET, to change this you need to fully open the window, then fully close the window. then the message center will say which window and WINDOW SET, the auto function for that window works. You need to repeat this for the other windows. The sunroof also needs to be programmed. The Process for this is fully open the sunroof, then fully close it, fully tilt it, and fully close it again. This needs to be done with almost no delay time in pressing the switch in the opposite direction. When doing the Sunroof , the message center will say SUNROOF NOT SET. once you are closing it from the tilt position it will say SUNROOF SET.
