Students learn better when a classroom is organized and they have a consistent routine. They are much more prone to have good behavior, pay attention, and do their work under those conditions. In addition, even those students who are prone to act out or be uninterested in school are much more prone to pay attention and do their work if the lessons are intresting and pertinent to their lives in addition to having a routine and organized classroom, which helps to bring out the best in students.

The best process of communication for controlling noise in a classroom is active listening combined with clear, concise verbal instructions. This approach encourages students to focus on the speaker, reducing distractions and background noise. Additionally, using non-verbal cues such as hand signals or visual aids can enhance understanding and maintain attention. Implementing structured group activities with defined roles can also minimize chaos and promote a quieter learning environment.

As a student i feel that the critical element in maintaining attention in a classroom or lecture is to make the material interesting and enjoyable. If the students are having a good time learning rather than being bored to tears then we are much more likely to concentrate on the task at hand. My 20 years of experience as a teacher has taught me many things. One of the most important things has been how to control behavior in a classroom. First of all, unless intentional and malicious, I do not see bad behavior as the problem. I am more inclined to look at it as a lack of leadership. What I try and do in my classrooms is direct the energy and focus of events so that I am always ahead of the students. That way they have to keep their attention on me in order to know where the class is going. The best way to explain this is that I have to keep the energy level up with a lot of entertainment or they get bored. It is only at those times of boredom that they 'mis-behave.' SO I see classroom behavior as a reflection of the skills of the teacher and how well they can steer their attention into being productive rather than destructive.
Positive peer pressure in a classroom could involve students encouraging each other to participate in class discussions, study together for exams, or complete group projects to the best of their ability. It can also be seen when students set academic goals together and hold each other accountable for reaching them.
