The centre of buoyancy (COB) of an object is the centre of gravity (COG) of the water that is displaced when the object is submerged. So to calculate the COB of an object you first need to calculate the COG of the object and the mass of the object in order to find out how the object will sit in the water and the shape of the water it displaces.
