It took me 6 hrs, I sent the unit to a turbo shop and they checked and re-cond it for me with gaskets my time and about 450.00 clams the turbo shop is in Grand Rapids Mi. But any heavy truck shop turbo repair center may help. I also had the factory service manual for guidance. I rate the job about 5 mark your lines and hoses
There is a noise on the top of my 96 S/C buick riviera engine (in the supercharger housing) Sounds to me like bearings? How do Ilubricate S/C? And when do I Change this lubricant?
Neglect to replace the supercharger oil.
from underneath the car you can get right to them
There is no button for the supercharger. The supercharger is always on because it is being driven by the belts of the engine. When you step on the gas, there is a vacuum line that is hooked up to the supercharger in which will close a little valve causing the boost to be diverted into the engine.
The supercharger has no battery.
A 1995 Buick Riviera wiring diagram can be obtained from most Buick dealerships. The wiring diagram can also be found at most auto-parts stores.
The battery is located under the rear seat in the passenger compartment.
with the radio off use the seek buton to set the time
Behind the glove compartment
At the end of the upper radiator hose is where the thermostat is located as with all cars. It may be difficult to remove due to all this other crap that is in the way.
I have a 1995 Riviera and the air filter is located on the drivers side underneath hood you will find a large coiled hose and you just remove the clamp and it is fairly easy to to put on.

how do you change the super charge fluid in a 1995 buick riviera You don't it is a completely sealed unit so you should not have to. i just changed my supercharger oil .Yes you can check it and no, it's not a sealed system. There is a small black plug looking thing about the size of a peanut that is embedded into the gray/silver supercharger itself. You have to use a hex key/allan wrench type tool to loosen it. refer to your owners manual for how much oil to add or if it gets low. the problem with removing old oil is that you have to use a baster type thing ( like a small turkey baster type suction) to remove the old oil as there is no drain plug that I know of. Hope this helps!get your supercharger oil from your local buick dealership, i think it takes 2 bottles
ON THE 1995 BUICK RIVIERA THE HORN IS LOCATED UNDER THE LEFT HAND SIDE FENDER. U WILL HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE TIRE AND REMOVE THE FENDER PANEL. THE HORN WILL BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LEFT INNER FENDER.
