Ministry will send a team for your back ground check and varify
To get "certificate of good conduct" or "lack of a criminal record" there are two options:
1. Through local police: In the locality where you last resided or are residing you should go to your local police department and request them to conduct a local or state criminal records search and issue a document stating that there is no history of criminal record. Your physical presence may be required to conduct search and you should determine whether the country you intend to use the records check requires that it be authenticated.
2. FBI records check: The Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) centralizes criminal justice information and provides accurate and timely information. You can obtain a copy of the record by submitting a written request to the CJIS Division. The request must be accompanied by satisfactory proof of identity (consisting of name, date and place of birth, and a set of rolled-inked fingerprint impressions) and a certified check or money order for the current processing fee.
yes, if available, the U.S. will conduct a background check before verifying citizenship.
Immigration officials certainly do a background check on a US citizen sponsoring a foreign spouse. They are mainly interested in whether the marriage is legitimate. If the US citizen has married and sponsored other people before, this may raise red flags.
You can be born in the US, or apply to become a naturalized citizen. That requires passing a background investigation and passing a written exam.
Conduct a background check using a service that does it for their native country.
Officials will decide if your criminal background may or may not prevent you from becoming a citizen.
They are required to ensure that you are a U.S Citizen. They have to submit your information to the US Customs and Immigration Services to ensure that you are a citizen.
Yes, since the mother is a citizen (no matter how she became a citizen), the baby is a citizen regardless of where it was born. However, there are additional rules if the baby does not end up living back in the the US or if the parents/grandparents have not lived in the US for a period of time. Check in with the local embassy.
Depends if you are also born in the United States. Check with the United States Citizenship and Immigration.
Marriage to a US citizen does NOT guarantee citizenship. Depending upon circumstances he MAY not be allowed entrance into the country. In the US you would have to check with ICE to determine his possible status.
In the US, it is illegal for some people to own a gun- convicted felons, persons that are mentally incompetent, etc. The background check is to insure that you are not a prohibited person.
Since its a federal it may take a few days. Today they use E-Verify to ensure that you are a United States citizen and then they run a formal background check to ensure your not a criminal and are in good standing.
If this is in reference to background checks, then a local check would be a check with the local police and a US national check would be a check with national sources (e.g. FBI, etc.).
