To find a good vein you will require a tourniquet. A good tourniquet is always elastic. about one inch wide and 2 1/2 feet long. Wrap this 1/3 of the way from your shoulder to your elbow, hard enough to create pressure but not so hard that your arm goes red below it. Squeeze your hands open and closed 20-25 times rapidly and using maximum strength to get the blood pumping. Now look on the inside of your elbow on the same arm. there should be one popping up toward the outside edge of the soft skin. some light tapping with two fingers in that area should do the job if not. if not, place the tourniquet 1/3 of the way down from your elbow toward your wrist and repeat the procedure, this time looking at the inside wall of your bone. If that hasn't done it, check the back of your hands. good cardiovascular exercise and an abundance of fast twitch muscle should do the trick for great, readily available veins. Good hunting.
