passenger seat cable its under seat drive cable
It seems that you cannot. I have an S class. As the seat adjusts forward and back a cable makes the seatbelt go up and down. I think mu=y drivers cable is broken, there is no manual adjustment
you can't... i tried.
There is an electrical connector located under sear that connects to seat belt buckle, just disconnect it.
I can assume that you are talkin about centre belt cause they seem to be a big problem. First of all before you go there , there is a cable that runs from the seat belt unit to the catch that your seat clips into when you have laid it down. You will probably find that the seat catch is not engaged properly which stops a cable from retracting and allowing the seat belt mechanism to release. Try lubricating the latch at the rear of the seat and also slamming. This is a safety device so if your seat is not clipped in properly you cannot pull out seat belt. If this doesn't work - Unclip the the rear protector on the rear of your seat and you will see along the edge of the seat near the bottom ,where you undo the fabric from the seat . Fold the fabric at the top away after unclipping the plastic insert were the belt goes into the seat, You will see some screws holding a steel plate over the belt. Remove the plate - Look on the back of the seat on the steel part and there is a bolt holding seat belt in place , Undo this and abstract seat belt from between foam and release cable from seat belt..
yhere is a seat belt module under middle front seat try disconnect battery first that worked for me
My 97 has pre tensioners. I see no reason for the 99 to not have it. Do you mean the seat belt has an automatic retracton? If so, the answer is yes.
You put the buckle in the clasp. Where your seat belt you paid for it and it will save your life. or u can do this: under the seat their is a cable connected it ends are purple on it disconnect them that should do it as i have jetta a vw jetta
Check to see if anything restricting movementCheck to see if cable disconnected or brokenSee if you can manually move cable to lower seat
Press the red button at the side of the seat. You can then open the door and leave the car.
