You need to pass IIT JEE Advance and Mains Exam for getting admission any of the IIT's. for getting admission in desired IIT's you should have appropriate rank .
You have to pass the IITJEE Examination to get admission in IIT.

If you have a rank of 1728 in JEE, then you can get admission in almost all the IITs. It is a very good rank which could take you to the best colleges.

There is no age limit to pursue engineering in India. Top engineering institutes in India are various IITs and NITs.
