∙ 16y agoDo you have a heater, chlorinator, ?? if so, all you do is put the suction side of the booster pump to the last point accessable of the return line to the pool. you do not want to take away water from the the heater, nor have a high chlorine content going into the booster pump. so add a tee joint to the return line closest to the pool and put the suction side of the pump to the tee. then run the pressure side of the pump pipe to the feature you want to boost, ie. slide, waterfall, etc.

∙ 13y agoRebuilt s are much cheaper than attempting repair. just remove & replace with new unit. gasket(s) should be included & just use some blue silicone.

take fuel lines off the pump and then remove the 2 bolts holding it on then pull it off, to install new pump there is a rod inside the engine that has to be pushed up while you slide the new pump in, I get a glob of grease and push the rod up and put a glob of grease on the bottom of the rod to hold it up in place so I can get the new pump in and get both bolts started and then tightened, re-hook fuel lines to new pump and your done.
