Nope. My kitty spent her whole life as an indoor cat. She didnt even try to go outside. -- It's not mean or cruel in anyway. Cats live long, happy and healthy lives inside. They don't get into fights, contract contagious diseases from other cats, don't kill song birds and other small creatures. On the contrary, you do both your cat and the environment a great favour by keeping it indoors. Our cat died recently - he spent his entire life indoors and was 19 when he died. He had an extremely good life.
