Why do volcanos errupt?

The volcanic chamber underneath the volcano produces the hot
lava and when is too hot, the chamber sends an outburst of lots of
lava and volcanic bombs (which are hot, hard, lava). If the volcano
is strong enough, the lava comes out of the top of the volcano and
runs down the sides. The lava cools down as it goes down and so the
lava that is left to cool on the volcano, forms another layer to
the volcano and increases the size it the volcano. This is how
volcanoes errupt and then increase in size.
Hope this helps :)
