The only way to make the color guard team or any other team is to practice. Put yourself in front of the mirror and practice your smile and your eye contact. Be sure to be polite and speak loud and clear when addressed by the judges.
The drill team red cord goes on the left shoulder, and the color guard white cord goes on the right shoulder.

American Flag, State Flag, and two Guard Rifles. Cadets compete for the best score. Raider Team- A competition team, the competitions involve team building, and leadership training. A great Experience. Competition Drill- A platoon competing for the best drill and ceremonies score. Rifle Team- Shooting targets with Air-Rifles, for competition. Fencing.... Look it up if you dont know. It is a great program. Source(s): I'm a cadet here at FHS.
Color guard is way fun! But, it's difficult and time consuming. I'd recommend it if you have lots of free time and want to be part of a team. It's not for everyone though. You never know until you give it a try. Its a commitment thing for sure. if you cant be committed then color guard is not for you
You may be cut and not allowed to play on the team.
THE ANSWER IS........... 115 people including color guard(no drill team)
A person looking to purchase Winter Guard items and uniforms can find them in a variety of online stores. Some stores that offer Winter Guard items include ALGY Team, Color Guard 4 Life, and Winter Guard International Store.
Yes! Colorguard isn't gender specific, if its the flag twirling, rifle tossing, Sabre spinning color guard I'm thinking of. Honestly, i wish there were boys in my guard, I'm always really jealous of the guards that have even like one boy, straight or gay. Color Guard is absolutely for guys!!!! I am an instructor and I love having guys on the team. In color Guard guys are able to perform tosses that women simply can not do. Choreography can also be more fun when you are able to have guys dancing on the field.
It depends on what color guard ur talking about. But most middle schools do have color guard.
Depends on where you are. If the color guard only spins flags, then the terms are interchangeable. Where the line is drawn is when weapons are added - then it is definitely a color guard.
