No explicit instructions on removing the fan, but it will help you get it open all the way to the fan. Also, you'll probably find the heatsink fins are incredibly dusty and perhaps contributing to the overheating that's prompting you to change the fan.
I g ave up waiting for an answer and decided to open my PC up. The answer is no, not in a million years unless you take the hard drive, the motherboard and the cooling fan out... It is just too big.
Reasons the fan could be rattling is because it is missing a blade, it could be dirty, or is just getting worn out. The only way to fix it would be to open your computer up and taking a closer look. If it's dirty you can use compressed air to clean it out. If it is broken you can order a replacement fan. Most of the time things that rattle when spinning is because they are out of balance, it could be broken, worn out, or dirty.
If the fan is not working - your computer is more than likely to be overheating - causing the processors to run slowly. Without being fixed, the lack of cool airflow from the fan will cause irreparable (and thus expensive) damage to your computer.
I have the same problem with mine. The fan and cooling system has already been replaced twice and after a few months its starts again. The cooling efficiency of this laptop is a joke due to the fact it doesn't have any cooling efficiency.
I have never been a fan of acers in general so my opinion after looking at it is probably not
There is two ways you can try fixing your laptop. You can try leaving the laptop off for a while to let it cool down or you can call the company and see if you can send it in to get it fixed.
There are three sensors related to coolant temperature on ford aspire - one for dash gauge, another one for the radiator fan and the third one for the ECU. The one which controls the fan is mounted on thermostat housing - so, it is the closes to where upper radiator hose meets the engine.
Yes, i have had this for a few months and i think it is great, i have replaced the ATI Radeon card with 2 nvidia 8800gtx's and have added an extra 4gb of ram and now its unstoppable :) It handles all process with ease, at first i wasnt a fan of the 64 bit vista OS, but now i love it! its the best PC ive had!
Try keeping your puppy in a space just big enough for her to turn around and only allow her out when it is time to go out and go.
You can turn down the speed of your power supply fan on the back of your computer. Or maybe you should upgrade your fans.
If it is anything like an Altima, one fan is for engine cooling and the other works with the air conditioning system.
The clips on a fan are typically snap together surrounding the grill of the fan. To open the grill of the fan, loosen each clip surrounding the grill. This should allow the fan to be safely taken apart. Also be sure to unplug the fan to avoid the fan from possibly turning on while disassembling.
