first shut off petcock, then disconnect fuel line at petcock,remove the seat and the bolt at rear of tank. raise rear of tank and pull back on tank disengaging the forward mounts.
underneath the petrol tank.. you can see the intake by removing the seat, and looking just above the battery.. you need to remove the bracket that holds the tank, to remove the filter
remove the seat and the main bolt is there and look between the handle bars and the tank for the other screw.
you will have to remove the gas tank and then remove the covers, located on each side near the front of the engine.
The gas tank on the 2010 Suzuki SX4 holds 13.2 gal..
The fuel pump on a 1992 Suzuki Sidekick is located in the fuel tank itself. To replace it, you will need to drain the fuel tank, remove the hoses leading to it, and then the tank itself. Once the tank is down, you can swap out the fuel pump. Be sure to disconnect the battery before starting to avoid any accidental sparking.
Remove the fuel tank from the vehicle to access the fuel pump. The fuel pump is located in the tank and is bolted on the top of the tank. Remove the bolts and replace with a new fuel pump, screen, and gasket then put the fuel tank back in place.
Remove seat. Remove 2 bolts holding gas tank. Lift gas tank and move to right far enough to remove bolts on left side cover to access spark plug.
The gas tank on the 2003 Suzuki Grand-Vitara holds 16.9 gal..
The air filter is located under the gas tank. Remove the two srews at the top of the tank and lift the tank from the front as it will pivot near the seat. Remove srews from around air box to access air filter.
remove seat. remove speedo housing, let it hang by the wires. remove rear tank bolt, lift rear of tank. remove fuel line(it wont leak fuel) and vacuum line. unplug small wire under tank(white snap together near rear of tank) . pull down to free idle adjustment screw from tank(just forword of that fuel line you took off). lift up on rear of tank while pulling rearword on tank....now change those spark plugs while your there.
Suzuki fuel filter is located in the fuel tank. Replacement is a tank down job.
Just unbolt the 2 straps, hoses etc. after you drain & it will fall out.
