Assuming you know how to remove everything to get to the oil pump.
Insert o ring insert the splined round tube over the crank shaft
install d ring gasket
insert gears ( dont matter how you line them up)
install oil pump to timing cover
torque down
4.5 qts
four and a HALF
Right below the oil filter.
head gasket is leaking into oil
You need to follow the same procedure as for timing belt replacement. But in the case of the oil pump you have to remove the oil pan too. There is a strainer attached to the oil pump from the bottom you will have remove it too. Then replace the oil pump, make sure that you have replace the oil pan gasket, and oil pump gasket.
You will have to remove the timing belt and the engine pan. Only after that you will get access to the oil pump.
