acid drips from your battery onto the wiring harness. corrodes a wire connector near rad support. bin there, done that.
You can replace the marker lights on a 2008 GMC Yukon Denali by removing the retaining screws and disconnecting the wiring harness. The bulb can then be unscrewed and a new bulb put in place.
A malfunction of a group of devices like that can be the result of one or more failed fuses, or a loose wire-harness connector, or a wire harness that got pinched so that a few wires in it broke.
The daytime running lights are the low beam lights run by a specific circuit. If they don't work then check your fuses and then the wiring harness for damage.
I have read that you need a "powered" wiring harness because the Elantra routes the tail lights through a computer that cannot handle the extra amperage necessary to drive a trailer's lights. A powered harness connects directly to the battery for power and taps the tail-light wires to control relays.
intermitten problems are the worst to figure out i would first start by changing the bulbs then i would change the wiring harness. i know i had a car that when the tail lights were on the blinkers wouldn't work and it turned out to be a short in the harness.
It sounds like the wiring harness has been disconnected or severed. Start at the lights and work back along the wires until you find the connector. If you don't find a problem between the lights and the connector, it may be further towards the front of the car.
If fuse 15amp fuse battery side is good, if you hear relay on passenger side under hood energizing when you cut fog lights on(easy to hear)WHILE CAR IS OFF, then the harness has a break(short) in the line, (must remove bulb and measure voltage at connector head (11-12v) if no voltage on connector you must trace harness may need wiring diagram to measure voltage where fog lines get fed the voltage. peace!
Assuming that you have checked the fuses, look for a loose connection in the wiring harness. I believe that there is a connector in the trunk area that may have come loose.
Which lights are you attempting to replace?
If the fuses under hood for this circuit are good, you will need to take a circuit tester and work back from the taillights forward. If there is a trailer connector spliced into the harness under the bumber, triple check this area as this harness area is prone to shorts from moisture.
I assume you have checked/replaced the bulbs. Take a cicuit tester and check the wire harness connections under the bumper and around the trailer connector if you have one. The problem must be at that area IF all your other lights are working as you said.
