A malfunction of a group of devices like that can be the result of one or more failed
fuses, or a loose wire-harness connector, or a wire harness that got pinched so that
a few wires in it broke.

If you turn up your interior dashboard light settings, then the radio display will be brighter too. The radio dims to the setting for the dashboard when the lights are turned on.

Probably because the dimmer switch is turned off. Turn the dimmer switch up and see if the dashlights and radio illumination lamps come on.

Check all the fuses.. My power locks, radio, dome lights werent working. I looked at the "Radio-CLock" fuse it was good. I checked the others and and "Aux" fuse or seomthing was bad.
