- Soak a bar of soap in a cup of water (any soap that doesn't have moisturizer)

-(optional) take a shower/wash hair with shampoo

-(optional) after you shower, comb your hair down and let it air dry (this causes it to become straighter)

- After at least an hour of the soap soaking, drain the cup of water and let the soap sit in the drained cup for 10 minutes (you can let the soap soak in water over night and let the soap stand in the empty cup while your in the shower if you want to save some time)

- Rub soap in between hands. Try to get a thick white layer of soap over your hands, not suds. Works best with your hands dry (soap should be kind of squishy and moist)

- Do a trihawk fauxhawk and stand under an A/C or heating vent about 2 minutes, or blow dry lightly for 1 minute. The reason why to do the 3 fauxhawks is because the hair stands out straight better with the added support of the other strands of hair leaning on eachother.

- Get more soap on hands and run em between each gap between the 'hawks, so you blend em together. Use as much soap as it takes, but try to avoid getting your hair wet.

I do my hair like this and it usually takes about 5 minutes to do. You can sleep with it up and add more soap (or a little water) in the morning to fix the flat parts.
