How do you play PSP games on PS3 game console?

I want to play the psp console on the ps3 console. Ive read alot of mixed reviews, where I think people got confused about the question so Im going to try to be carefull of what I say.

You know how you can use the ps3 on the psp using remote play. YOu can see the ps3 screen on the psp and see stuff on the ps3 on the psp. I want to use that in reverse and use the psp on the ps3. I have heard you can play psp games on the ps3 using remote play. Such as instead of using remote play to play pictures, videos, etc. from the ps3 to the psp I want to do the reverse. I want to play stuff from the psp onto the ps3.

Question1. can you play psp games from the psp console on the ps3 using remote play. Is this possible put(Yes/No) .If yes explain thoroughly in carefull steps how or give a link to video.

Question2. Is to buy an av composite cable the only way to play psp on tv.(Yes/NO)?

I think it is impossible because the games for the PSP are too small and it will not work. I dont have a PS3 or a PSP. My friend did it and then he said it doesnt work
