it's different because Confucianism taught that people needed to have a sense of duty to their family and community in order to bring peace to society and Daoism taught that people should give up all worldly concerns and turn to nature. So they're both different because they teach different things.

Daoism says turn to nature and give up worldly concerns while Confucianism taught people to have a sense of duty to their family and community in order to bring peace to society. (Daoism is telling you not to worry about the world concerns which is the opposite of what Confucianism taught that you should have a duty to your community/wold to have peace in society.)
