The history of Mother's day first started in the US on May 12th 1908. It started with Anna Jarvis when she started campaigning for a day with a view of honoring mothers worldwide. After it began with US adopting in 1914, other countries also started following it. In the US, mothers day is celebrated on the second sunday of May but other countries usually have different dates.
