How was Prue from Charmed in the future if she was killed off at the end of season 3?

When they changed their behavior it changed the future. The future in most of the si-fi and fantasy genre is constantly changing due to actions of people in the present. Also the writers only killed Prue off because the actress didn't want to do the show and was giving everyone trouble.
