Glue is tested in too many different ways to describe here.
Elmer's glue will not float. -I just tested it !
Some are made cheaply, with less adhesive. I have tested many and find 'Ross ' brand best.
Yes it is actually. we did an expiriment that tested it. By our calculations, slug slime is stickier. :) but not by much....
Goof Off will remove almost any glue, including super glue types from laminate and hardwood flooring. Just rub with a rag and a few drops of Goof Off and the glue soon softens and can be peeled off. This has not harmed 3 different types of flooring that I've tested it on.
Tite Bond ll is stainable. Gorilla Glue claims to be stainable, but I haven't tested it yet.
Goof Off works well for this . I have tested it on 3 different cars and it didn't affect the paint finish at all.
Polypropylene was invented specifically to be glue resistant. You will not find any normal glue to stick it in my opinion. However I have heard (but haven't tested) that a really hot glue gun will repair polypropylene. This seems a feasible idea, and I'd suggest you try it.

There is a brand in Canada called Minotaur, which works very well.
Goof Off works well for this and does not affect modern car paint finishes. -I've tested it on 3 types of cars.
gorrilla glue
gorilla glueANS 2 - That's difficult to say as different glues are for different products and materials. Gorilla Glue is best for some things, but not everything.
