Do you mean WHO was John Lennon's wife?

He was married twice- his first wife was Cynthia Powell, whom he met when they were students at Liverpool College of Art in 1957. Cynthia was at the time engaged to somebody else, but after beginning her involvement with Lennon she broke it off. Lennon and McCartney's first band was called The Quarrymen, and she used to travel all over the country with him on their gig tours.

Lennon was physically violent and abusive to Cynthia; she became pregnant in July 1962, resulting in them getting married. Their son Julian was born on 8th April the following year (he is now a famous musician in his own right). As the hippy era began, and The Beatles got into hallucinogenic drugs such as LSD, John began losing interest in Cynthia, and began an affair with Japanese artist Yoko Ono in 1966 after visiting the Indica Gallery in London where she was having an exhibition. Cynthia divorced John in May 1968 after returning from holiday in Greece to find Ono at their house in Weybridge, Surrey, wearing Cynthia's dressing gown! She was awarded £100,000 in divorce settlements, and custody of Julian.

Yoko Ono went on to marry John in Gibraltar on 20th March 1969- they remained together until John's assassination in December 1980, living for most of the time in New York. Yoko suffered three miscarriages during this time, but also produced their son Sean on 9th October 1975- John's 35th birthday.
