How was technology back in 1912?

Following the industrial revolution that ended in the late 1800's, the technology of 1912 was changing rapidly due to many new engine designs that were used to run things that helped our lives. Henry Ford was making what are considered to be modern automobiles by that time. Many houses had electricity that powered lights and radios were just starting to become useful but there still were not radios in every household. Airplanes were being developed as useful machines for war, transportation and other aerial jobs, however none of these things were in widespread practice yet. Many households had telephones and could call across the country but the service was still very limited. With the widespread use of anesthetics in the mid 1800's, medical technology was advancing rapidly and people were able to undergo surgery with a much better rate of success than before however, most of the modern medical technology we know today did not happen until World War I and II due to the massive casualties and doctors developing methods to treat the wounded. 1912 would have been a time of seeing many new ideas and innovations that had potential for the future but did not apply to people's daily lives at that time.
