This world was made from parts of other worlds. God created this world, but not from nothingness, just from unorganized matter. how did God make all the other"worlds"? He had to start somewhere. Yes, God really did create the earth out of nothingness, just like the Bible says. If you study the Earth nothing is unorganized, even out in the space nothing is. It just looks that way in our human eyes. We are not God so we have now clue "how" God made the earth, all we have to go by is what He tells us in The Bible.
Modern scientists have much more to go by than the Bible and other scriptures. They have plenty of scientific evidence that the Earth is billions of years old and that, before it was solid, the Earth was a molten ball. Before that, it was so hot that everything was gaseous. The earth cooled down and the land formed. Eventually it was cool enough for water to liquefy and form the oceans. But the continents were not always where they are now - they drift on continental plates and are still drifting at an almost imperceptible rate. The Himalayan Mountains were forced upwards millions of years ago when the Indian landmass rammed into the southern boundary of the Asian landmass.
Scientists do not answer the question of whether God created the world, but they find no reason that he must have.

With the exception of mankind, we are only told what God made, not how He made it. That fact is in order to stress mankind's importance.
To make man, God fashioned the appropriate shape from dirt and breathed a soul into it (Genesis ch.2). He then made the first woman by fashioning her from a piece of the man's flesh (ibid).
Day by day, God created the universe and its contents (Genesis ch.1).God created the universe out of nothing (Exodus 20:11, Isaiah 40:28; Rashi commentary to Genesis 1:14; Maimonides' "Guide," 2:30).Note that the Torah, in describing the Creation, deliberately employs brevity and ellipsis, just as it does in many other topics. See the Talmud, Hagigah 11b.
